I ran into this late last night, but I hesitated to post it because of the XXX language. I see Solaratov also put on the Open with the disclaimer, "Absolutely, positively, NSFW". He's right, however, this is something that really deserves to be heard. If you can somehow grit your teeth and get around your initial reaction to the language, you'll be surprised at the wisdom he articulates.
This was just so superb – I reblogged it myself! I’m ashamed to say I even enjoyed the swearing (*blushes*) since it added a certain something to the whole thing for me! I mean, these are matters that make me want to swear too if I’m honest – don’t get me started about the vicious, inadequate little self-entitled youths who graced our screens in august during the London riots (especially since the ridiculous London School of Economics and the Candyfloss-brained Guardian newspaper have just released the results of a joint “study” they carried out which basically takes the blame away from the rioters themselves and their idiotic “gangsta” culture and squarely lays it at the feet of everyone else but.) These people really, really make me want to swear,and so do their apologists. Adam Carolla’s damn right – we’re breeding a generation of vicious, demanding and emotionally immature little weaklings who are completely unprepared for, and unable to function independently in, the real world!
